I recently discovered guava paste (as a glaze for grilling) and am eager to try your recipe. Do you melt the paste before mixing it or simply cube it? Thanks for sharing!

Oh I am now in Heaven this is one of my favorite foods from when I lived in Colombia (Pasto Narino). If you have never had this you MUST try it. Thank you so much for posting this I am going to make if for my family for Thanksgiving.

Yo can buy guava paste online. You can omit the guava paste and make a plantain and cheese cake.
