Joan from Foodalogue is having a “Culinary Tour Around the World” and this time she is going “South of the Border”. The first country on the tour is Mexico and because I love their food so much, I decided to join her with these delicious Chicken Tacos with tomatillo salsa. They were easy and quick to make and full of flavor. You can make the tomatillo salsa one day before and use leftover chicken.
One of my favorite Mexican foods are tacos, so I was inspired to create these traditional Mexican Chicken Tacos with my own twist.

I finally saw Julie and Julia and I liked very much. It is such an inspiring movie for food bloggers. I went to the movies by myself for the first time in my life and I really enjoyed it. It’s not that I don’t like going to the movies with my husband 
but Julie and Julia is not the kind of movie he would see at the theater and I couldn’t wait to see it on DVD. Anyway, go and see the movie, the actors did a great job!
I love Mexican food and the flavors that they use in their cuisine are amazing to me. Tacos are such a versatile food, as you can use any kind of filling. If made right, they are absolutely delicious. For these beef tacos I used flank steak, but feel free to use your favorite kind of steak.
