    My Life Lately...

    Oct 21, 2010 · Modified: Jul 15, 2021 by Erica Dinho · 37 Comments

I want to apologize to all of my readers for not posting as often these past couple of months and to my blogging friends for not visiting your blogs as often. I do have a couple of pretty good excuses though...

I have some news that I've been meaning to share with you for a while now, but I just haven't had the time to write even a short post such as this.

Okay guys, here it is... I am expecting my second baby and I had a difficult first trimester. It was really hard to cook, go to the market and even talk too about food.

The second excuse is that I started I new job at the same time! But I am feeling a lot better lately and am cooking again and I promise that I will be posting more often. I'm deeply grateful to you all for reading my blog day after day.

    Sincerely,
    Erica

You're the second blogger I follow who just announced the 'happy' reason for not blogging so often lately. A second baby is wonderful -- I didn't know there was a first. Best wishes to you and your family!!

Congratulations Erica for your second pregnancy, hope it's smooth sailing from now on. I thoroughly enjoy your blog and have prepared several of your dishes; all of them turn out beautifully. I recommend your recipes to my daughter who being a Colombiana loves the food from her native Valle del Cauca but also likes to try anything new, but her Spanish has gotten a bit rusty.(Un abrazo desde Suecia)

Congrats!!! I know just how much craziness happens with that!! LOL Just had our little girl last month, my wife felt REALLY bad for the first 2 months, bad morning sickness, migraines, all that.

Hope you're doing well, my wife was told that Acetimenphen is the only painkiller you can take while pregnant that is safe for the baby. So if you get headaches like my wife did, that can help, but no more than 800mg, or 8 pills a day.

Omg!!!Congratulations! How exciting. Sorry you had a rough time in the beginning but glad you're feeling better. Don't pressure yourself...just post when you can, at your leisure. And keep us updated on how everything is while you're talking to us about food 🙂
