My name is Erica and I was born and raised in Colombia and now live in the northeastern United States with my husband and family. This blog was inspired by my grandmother, Mamita, who was an amazing traditional Colombian cook.

Hi Erica,
My friend Yesid let me try this drink at New Year's eve, we would have a few drinks and then
start with the chicken!
Well I never got at the chicken, I really do not remember a thing after finishing the whole or probably more bottlles , it is powerfull stuff just be aware when you have never tried it before,
still it is a good drink!

I was pleased to be able to find this locally, at a Party Town store! Kinda pricy, but nice for special occasions! First time I tried this liquor was when I was in Bogota, it was really cold and we sat outside and watched a band play and drank canelazos! 🙂
