      We had that last october 2011 and all of us get drunk with that drink it was absolutely forget anything happened when u drink too much of Aguardiente.,. and now I'm tryin to find where in our country could I buy that drink, christmas gift to my friends 🙂

      My dad is from Bogota and he likes to drink for an upset stomach after eating too much. I didn't believe him at first but it works wonders as well as being delicious.

      My husband is originally from Bogota and suggested this. I am not usually a beer drinker but LOVE this!
      I haven't been able to find Aguardiente yet to be able to make it at home..but I am looking : )

      Hi Erica,
      Today I found the Chrystal brand Aguardiente in Holland, said to be the most sold in the US
      too, we just fineshed trying, supurb stuff from Caldas region, bottled in Bogota!
      Tasted alsmost like "Vodka" my friend likes it too!

      I have to show this to my hubby:-) we have had a friend get us a drink from brazil , which was also sugarcane.. i forgot the name. we had that with muddled lemon, heavenly!

      Hi Erica,

      My friend Yesid let me try this drink at New Year's eve, we would have a few drinks and then
      start with the chicken!
      Well I never got at the chicken, I really do not remember a thing after finishing the whole or probably more bottlles , it is powerfull stuff just be aware when you have never tried it before,
      still it is a good drink!

      I was pleased to be able to find this locally, at a Party Town store! Kinda pricy, but nice for special occasions! First time I tried this liquor was when I was in Bogota, it was really cold and we sat outside and watched a band play and drank canelazos! 🙂
