Homemade Dulce de Leche milkshake recipe with simple ingredients, creamy, sweet and delicious.
Arequipe or dulce de leche is a popular ingredient in Colombian cuisine and one of my favorite things in the world and milkshakes are one of my favorite treats. This dulce de leche milkshake is the perfect combination of my two obsessions!
This milkshake is especially good on a hot summer day and can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
Ingredients You'll Need

Dulce de Leche: You buy it at your local store or make it at home.
Milk: I use whole milk to make this recipe, because I like my milkshake creamy. But use whatever milk percent you have at home. If you want ir even creamier use heavy cream.
Ice Cream: I recommend using vanilla ice cream, but you can replace it with coconut or dulce de leche ice cream.
Cinnamon: I like to use a pinch of ground cinnamon.
How to Make Dulce de Leche Milkshake
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Drizzle more dulce de leche on the top for garnish if you want.

- 1 cup dulce de leche or arequipe homemade or store bought
