Two years already? I am still amazed when I think about it. Two years ago, on Feb 9 2009, I thought long and hard about this little venture of mine and I'm so glad I did. Today, on my second anniversary in the blogosphere, I can say that this second year has been even better than the first!
I've met great people, made new friends, acquired new readers, and I've learned a ton. I am able to do something every day that I love and I'm able to share it with you.
I want to dedicate this post to all of you, without whom this blog would simply not be what it is today. Your constant comments and e-mails always make me happy and smile, and for that I am thankful!

I recently stumbled across your blog and have not been able to stop coming back. Your recipes look so good and I can't wait to try them all. I will attempt to make your arroz con pollo this weekend - fingers crossed! My mom is from Bogota and she will be undergoing hip replacement surgery in a couple of weeks and while I care for her at home I'd like to be able to cook some Colombian food for her. My mom left Colombia in her early teens and didn't get the chance to learn to cook the traditional dishes of her country. But now is our chance to learn and I'd like to thank you for that.
