    Roasted Pepper HummusPin

A couple of weeks ago I woke up craving homemade hummus, so I decided to make some. When I was getting all the ingredients ready, I noticed a jar of roasted peppers next to the tahini. So, I made roasted pepper hummus and it was fantastic!

I enjoy making dips like this for a quick snack because they are healthy and easy to prepare.

You know I may do the same! I have had a jar of roasted peppers forever in the cupboard! I like the color of your hummos and I bet it tastes great! It is hard for me to veer away from the traditional recipe (I feel "guilty") but I am gonna do it, by golly!

I actually make something like this without the garbanzo beans...just the roasted peppers...though I put ground almonds in it...and garlic and chilis...

I like this with the beans and tahini YUM

Wow, this is almost identical to the way I make my hummus (minus the red pepper). I love what the cumin and chili powder (I use a pinch of cayenne) do to really perk everything up. I can't wait to try it with homemade roasted red peppers too. What do you like to eat it with?

Your hummus looks so good, and you're right, it's really delicious with roasted red pepper! With some raw veggies or pita chips, this is really the perfect snack!
