Salsa Rosada or Salsa Golf is a popular sauce in Latin America. It's perfect to serve with plantain chips, yuca fries and your favorite side dishes.

    Ingredients to Make Salsa Rosada

You'll find the printable recipe card below with exact amounts and directions.

Mayonnaise: I like to regular mayo, but feel free to use light if you prefer.

Ketchup: I recommend using a good quality.

Lime Juice: Gives special flavor to the sauce.

Salt and Pepper: For extra flavor.

Hot Sauce: This ingredient is optional, but I like to add Tabasco to my salsa rosada. Feel free to use your favorite hot sauce.

Funny enough, this combination of ketchup and mayo is also very popular in Utah, of all places. Travel anywhere outside of the vicinity (Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho, California) and it's hard to come by. Utahns call it "Fry Sauce," and typically eat it with fries or onion rings. However, this stuff sounds better, since fry sauce typically has no lime, pepper, or tabasco sauce.

At Puerto Rico we call it Mayoketchup and we eat it with tostones or chicken croquettes. My kids love this sauce.
