Cocadas de Lechera (Sweet Condensed Milk and Coconut Bars)

by Erica Dinho on April 6, 2012

I don’t like staying in the kitchen for hours after cooking the main course making dessert, so I prefer simple desserts for entertaining. These Sweet Condensed Milk Bars or Cocadas de Lechera are the perfect dessert for entertaining.

I wish you all a happy Pascua (Easter) with your families and friends. Hope you enjoy the warm, spring days a head. Have fun with the egg hunts!

Buen provecho!

I made this recipe last night, so quick and easy, but so delicious. My Columbian friend said this recipe is better than his mothers.

I was looking for a coconut sweet that was slightly different to the Jamaican sweets, Coconut Drops! I think that I’ll try these some time.. Latinos and Caribbeans have a lot in common foodwise!!
