This is one of my favorite recipes when I want an appetizer that’s simple and quick to make, looks nice and tastes delicious. Roasted asparagus with Serrano ham is a wonderful appetizer idea for the holidays. Although I love Serrano ham for this recipe, if you don’t find it, just use prosciutto. Your guests are going to love you!

MMM! We made this a few times this summer, but used regular bacon (wrapped around 2-3 spears depending on their size). Over a campfire or BBQ added a wonderful smokiness! I have never heard of serrano ham before, I will have to keep my eyes open for it.

I don't cook asparagus so often as it's not so common in Turkey. It's great to learn this new and easy recipe. They look like a great appetizer.

They look very nice, and if I could I would pick them right off the page and have a few with my tea right now! You would be proud, I made the egg dish I saw on here, came out nice and I did it again, but with a different recipe of my own...love your site...
