This Venezuelan Cocada is a creamy and delicious coconut drink. It's the perfect treat for any time of the year, but specially during the summer months.

Creamy and delicious Venezuelan cocada Pin

This Venezuelan Cocada is very easy to make, refreshing and absolutely delicious. I love everything coconut and it's a popular fruit in Colombia and Latin America.

When I tried this drink from a friend from Venezuela, it brought me back to the coasts of Colombia and reminded me of a couple of my favorite Colombian coconut drinks Coco Loco and Limonada de Coco.

Like many traditional recipes every person and family has its own variation, the recipe I am sharing today is from my friend's mom and it's wonderful.

    Ingredients You'll Need

The printable recipe card with exact amounts and directions to make this Venezuelan Cocada is below.

Coconut: You need the water from the coconut and fresh coconut meat to make this drink. I find fresh coconuts at my local market.

Dry Milk: Whole dry milk gives this drink a creamy consistency. You can replace it with whole regular or evaporated milk.

Sweet Condensed Milk: It gives this drink a wonderful sweet flavor and creaminess.

Vanilla Extract: Always use a good quality for the best flavor.

Cinnamon: It's an important ingredient to add extra flavor ti the Venezuelan Cocada and to garnish.

Ice: To make it very cold.
