Thanksgiving Main Dishes with a Latin flair to share with your family and friends.

    Chimichurri Butter Roasted TurkeyPin

Cooking was always a big part of my childhood in Colombia and even when I am celebrating an American holiday, I like to add my own Latin heritage to my recipes.

Thanksgiving is not the exception, my husband and sons were born here in the United States and we like to celebrate this holiday every year.

I shared my favorite desserts, side dishes, appetizers and cocktails ideas with a Latin twist for your Thanksgiving dinner.

Today I want to share a list of main dishes to served during the holidays. you'll find a couple of turkey recipes, chicken, pork, rice and tamales if you are like my mom and you don't like turkey.

Pernil Asado Colombiano (Colombian-Style Roasted Pork Leg)
Almost every Sunday afternoon while growing up in Colombia, my family would get together at my grandmother's house. Cousins, uncles, aunts, and my immediate family would all gather and enjoy Mamita's cooking. There were times those family gatherings would be for something special, like birthdays, holidays, or to celebrate an achievement. That’s when Mamita would.
